Get some sparklers, and crush the powder off. Then get some small co2 containers. Get a piece of tin foil, and put a teaspoon ofpoder in the middle, then place a co2 container on top. Place some sort of a fuse into the powder, and make it long, Scrunch up the tin foil aroind the co2 conatiner, so that the fuse is sticking out of the tin foil.

Place it into something, and light the fuse. This has enough power to blow a hole roughly the size of a watermellon in drywall.

I don't think this is the sort of stuff which should be posted on this message board.

I wouldn't advise trying any sort of pyrotechnics without a FX guy on hand unless you want to blow yourself up.

I think this topic should be deleted.

Put it (the model) together very flimsily. Unsure what size model you're planning on though...

It was 'guerilla filmmaking' a few years ago, but I played with being the 'pyrotechnic specialist' on a no-budget feature that never found a post-production studio to help finish it. And only because I knew how to blow-things-up without using shit that would make schrapnel.

Hehee, ending shot, we blew-up the Earth. Which was just a spherical balloon painted/coated with about 1/4inch of crushed/powdered romancandle material (painted to look like Earth continents). Hung it from the ceiling, had the camera on the floor pointing directly up with a plate of glass to shield from sparks, lit it off, and Earth fizzled & spun while burning so damn hilariously in slo-mo, we had to keep that take! Pissed it never got picked-up for final/post, but thems the brakes...

I'd have to see the size of the models, and understand the scale you'd like to explode them in.
